Sudoku is fun
Sudoku is a fun puzzle where the goal is to fill a 9×9 grid with numbers 1 through 9. Each horizontal and vertical line must have numbers 1 through 9 with no repitition and each of the 9 3×3 grids must have numbers 1 through 9. I may have just confused you so I’ll stop here and point you at Websudoku.com where you can read the rules and play a simple game.. maybe get addicted, and play an ‘evil’ game which may give you headaches or cold sweats or a good time..
Happy friday!
Portland Go Tournament
This past Saturday was the annual Portland Go Tournament and it was held at Lewis and Clark college this year. Many thanks out to Peter Drake for doing a great job organizing and running this tournament!
This tournament is a two day event with 3 games on the first day and 2 on the final day. Due to a lengthy drive, I attend only the first day and take byes on the last two games. I won 2 games and lost 1 this year and had a great time visiting friends and playing Go. I’ve posted some pictures on Flickr and I’m attaching the Flickr badge below..take a peek!
(I’ll be working on integrating a Flickr plugin for my blog in the near future as well)
*Tailbone news* : My second acupuncture appointment went really well and I continue to get relief from my tailbone pain. I was able to sit for several hours during the tournament with little to no pain. Acupuncture is nothing short of amazing…

October 21
Today, October 21 , quite a few things happened, one of which is my birthday. yay! Anyway, I found this page on Wikipedia this morning. Of the more notable people I recognize on this list, I was surprised to see Alfred Nobel. That’s kinda cool. Another interesting thing happened on this day a 100 years before my birthday (1879), this guy Thomas Edison tested his first practical light bulb which lasted for 13.5 hours. Damn, I learn something new every day!
Happy Friday to everyone!
Get Flocked!
Are you a Flocker? Have you got Flocked today? If not, you need to! Flock is built on the Mozilla browser but directly integrates into del.icio.us for community favorites as well as directly integrating into the most popular blog software. As a matter of fact, I’m adding this blog post directly to revGum by using Flocks built-in blog poster.
Another of the sweet features is a full featured RSS reader built into the browser so you can see all of the your favorite blog posts in one spot.
Beware, Flock is currently a developer release which means there are still plenty of bugs in the software. Don’t let this stop you though, Flock is pretty flocking cool!
