More abstracts..
Here are a few I’ve finished over the past couple of weeks.
This one is on a 9×9 canvas, I think the upper left corner was a bit too green and doesn’t really fit in well with the rest of the painting.
This one is on a 12×12 canvas.. I like that this one has a bit more of a range of color, and I’m playing around with a sortof drop shadow on the greyish blocks to try and help give it more depth. Fun stuff…
Sweet internet radio..
Check out Pandora at http://www.pandora.com/ . You can type in a song or an artist and Pandora will create a dynamic playlist of songs and start streaming them to you immediately. While songs are playing you can rate them, which apparently adjusts the following songs in your playlist to match more closely to your preferences based on previously marked likes and dislikes. Anyhow, this is a sweet (and free) Internet radio well worth a visit.. I’ll stop blabbering now, you go and listen to some music.
The Legend of Zelda, completed in 26 minutes.
I can recall spending at least a couple dozen hours trying to complete this game back when it was originally released.. of course, the person who recorded this clip was using emulation software capable of slowing the gameplay down for difficult battles and saving the state of the game at any point so that if they die they can come right back to the save state.. all of that aside, it’s still pretty damn cool. You can tell by the video that this person knows exactly where to go and exactly where all of the monsters are going to be at any time.. props to playa!
Trying out a new brush!
Last night I painted this, trying out my new brush and a product which is supposed to help the consistency and fullness of the paint. Anyhow this was a pretty simple painting exercise, I’m really pleased with the new brush and the acrylic flow improver..seems like it made easy work of loading the brush with a lot of paint.
