What makes McCain look more of a chump?

Does he keep Palin as a running mate and let her prove he is a chump, or does she (he tell her) to bail out and he looks like a chump for making such a short-sighted selection to begin with?

Bottom line, she is not, absolutely not, prepared for the role she would have.. (he dies, she has to steer the ship… F that!)
